► Now available!  The new DSK_AUDIO16_BASE baseboard permits up to four DSK_AUDIO4 daughtercards to be mounted on a single DSK, permitting 16-channel audio processing. See the DSK_AUDIO16_BASE product page for more information.

► The new DSK_AUDIO4 daughtercard offers four audio input/output channels, with the ability to directly connect four microphones (no preamps required). Four-channel acoustic beamforming on a DSK is now possible for less than $100! A simple programming interface allows control of input and output gains, input source selection, and configuration of any codec register from within your DSP code. Planned enhancements to the DSK_AUDIO4 daughtercard include an interface daughtercard that will support up to four (4) DSK_AUDIO4 daughtercards, allowing for 16-channel audio input/output.

► eDSP announces the enhancement of the Host Port Interface (HPI) daughtercard for the TMS320C6713 DSK to now also support the TMS320C6416T DSK. This versatile daughtercard adds new capabilities to the 6713/6416T DSKs, including;

  • USB, parallel port, and serial port connectivity for creating stand-alone applications and running the winDSK6 software package. Simple software APIs make host-side and DSP-side code a snap.
  • DSP software can use serial and USB communications, and has access to up to 16 digital I/O with individual direction control and up to 8 12-bit analog input signals. All services can be easily used with simple function calls.
  • Does not interfere with standard daughtercards.
  • Only $85 + shipping.
